Navigating the IRS Crackdown on ERC Claims: What You Need to Know

20,000 Disallowance Letters for ERC. The IRS is full tilt on aggressive ERC claims with 20,000 disallowance letters being sent to entities that either 1) didn’t exist or 2) did not pay employees during period claimed.

The letter in question is called the Letter 105 C, Claim Disallowed, and the IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel has stated that soon letters will be sent out seeking refund of funds that were ineligibly received.

If you’re a company who filed for the ERC but have not either 1) received a check or 2) cashed a check, there is still time to do a voluntary withdrawal of the claim before year-end.

At VerityCPAs, we offer expert guidance to navigate this complex situation. Contact us at 808.546.5026 ext. 303 or info@verity.cpa for personalized assistance. Don’t risk penalties – ensure your business is in compliance today! #VerityCPAs #ERCClaims #BusinessTax
